What keeps you coming back to 1896 O’Malley?   ” Oh! Gosh! So many reasons!”  The location, the staff, the entire home is beautiful especially the porch swing!  Although, the best part is the streetcar’s convenient location located right outside the home!

Why is room number 4 your favorite room in the home? ” I didn’t start out staying in the room, but I love 4&5 because they a join and its super cozy just like being home!”

What is the most unforgettable reason of always choosing to stay with us?  “Oh My! The breakfast, of course you guys always have amazing New Orleans staple dishes!”

“The Bread pudding is my all-time favorite”

How did you initially find out about us?  “My cousin found it for me!”

“He actually came over before I arrived and met the previous owner, but it was after Katrina”

“I especially love the walk to Jazz Fest, and City Park.”

What do you like about Mid-City?   ” I love that so many great restaurants are so close”

“Katies is my favorite”

“When I started coming to 1896 O’Malley, Mid-City was boarded up in 2007”

What about the 2022, and current owner, Sally Idrissou, did you like most about when you first met her this trip?

“I loved meeting her family”

“Hearing about her culture and background, she is amazing and has an interesting story to tell”

“She is strong and beautiful, I’m so glad my granddaughters got to meet a smart woman owned business owner”
