Mid-City Bayou Boogaloo New Orleans, May 17-19, 2013

Staying with us at 1896 O’Malley House Bed & Breakfast over the weekend of May 17-19?  Party with a purpose at the Bayou Boogaloo of 2013.  The 7th Annual Mid-City Bayou Boogaloo put on by the MotherShip Foundation benefits neighborhood restoration projects from Hurricane Katrina, sustainability projects, and more.  What better reason to get into local music, art, and delicious food?

Saturday, May 18th check out the Bicycle Pub Crawl beginning at 8 AM and taking you to 6 local eateries for coffee, beignets, local personalities, and southern hospitality!  Traveling without your wheels?  Bicycle rentals are available.

Sunday, May 19th enjoy a 11-mile ride, Bicycle Second Line, beginning at Bayou St. John and ending at Bayou Boogaloo.  In typical NOLA style, this easy ride goes at parade pace and even includes life music!  Don’t miss it!
