New Orleans PRIDE Events – June 7-10, 2018

Officially, New Orleans PRIDE begins on June 8th, and we will give you the info – but there are a couple of fun events prior that you will want to know about:

opens in a new windowMascara Run – May 28th, 2018, 1-5pm
The 18th Annual Mascara Run starts at the Clover Grill. Participants must down a drink and add an item of drag as they dash from bar to bar, with the help of a pit crew. Watching is maybe even funner than participating in this annual tradition!

opens in a new windowDining Out for Life – June 7, 2018, All Day
Start with breakfast, then have a lovely lunch, and finish with dinner at any one of dozens of participating restaurants, who donate part of the day’s proceeds to NO/AIDS Task Force. You can also ask for a donation envelope during your meal to donate a little more.

Now to the Main Events!

opens in a new windowPRIDE GLOW – June 8th, 2018, 9pm – 2am
Party to Kick-Off PRIDE – held at One Eyed Jack’s in the French Quarter. All are welcome! Dance the night away with performances by:LE1F, Bouffant Bouffant, Delish Da Goddess, DJ Ryan Tiffin. You must be 18 to enter, 21 to drink. Tickets are $25.

opens in a new windowNew Orleans PRIDE Parade – June 9th, 2018 – 7:30-9:30pm
NOLA loves a parade, and PRIDE does not disappoint! The parade is planned for an entire year, by dedicated volunteers who strive to make it a safe event with plenty of rollicking fun and frivolity. You’ll see all kinds of groups, from big floats, walking groups, carriages, and more! The route will begin on Elysian Fields, proceed down Royal, Frenchmen, Decatur and Canal Street before making it’s way down world famous Bourbon Street.

opens in a new windowgirl:Crush Rouge – June 9, 2018 – 6:30pm – 2am
Rouge is the official Women’s party of New Orleans PRIDE. Held at Coyote Ugly, the PRIDE parade passes right by the venue, making it a primo spot for the evening. Tunes provided by DJ Jena. There will be games, giveaways, and Miller and Coors drink specials. Cover charge $5 until 9pm ($10 after). Over 21 only.

For the entire weekend, the Home Base will be opens in a new windowThe Phoenix Bar on Elysian Fields. The bar will ave different events happening all weekend, from the 7th-10th, including PRIDEFest, the big street party prior to the parade.
