December 17th, 2011 will find Lafayette Street teeming with Santa look-alikes accompanied by Mrs. Clauses and even a few elves.Running of the Santas is credited as “The World’s Naughtiest Festival and Pub Crawl” and attracts thousands to the Warehouse District for fun and frivolity that only New Orleans can provide.

Tickets are $15 and proceeds will benefit the That Others May Live Foundation, which provides support, immediate tragedy assistance and scholarships to families of U.S. Air Force personnel who are killed or severely wounded in operational or training missions.

After the Fun Run, wherein hundreds of Santa wanna-bes flood the street for 3 blocks, from the “South Pole” to the “North Pole”, where the festivities will commence in earnest.
