Do you love seafood? Do you love New Orleans? Well, we have the festival for you! The three day event is held on the weekend of September 9-11th for 2011 and will be found in the Central Business District’s Lafayette Square.
Different restaurant vendors will present their delicious dishes, including some of New Orleans’ most famous dineries such as Galatoire’s and Arnaud’s. Sample classic seafood dishes and some new creations, such as shrimp remoulade, po’ boy sandwiches, and other delightful choices. You will also be able to participate in cooking demonstrations from accomplished New Orleans chefs like John Besh of Restaurant August and Chris Lusk of Cafe Adelaide.
Enjoy music at the festival as well. Acts are scheduled most all day of the entire event.
Make sure you have a place to lay your stuffed tummy after the festival. 1896 O’Malley House will offer a soft bed and Southern Hospitality.
