Since we’re coming up on September, we’ve got to mention opens in a new windowMartini Madness, put on by Frinds of City Park. Taking place on September 20, 2019 from 7-11pm at the Arbor Room and Popp Fountain in City Park, this adults-only gathering allows connoisseurs to sample 25 different Specialty Martinis whilst also partaking of cuisine from NOLA’s finest restaurants. You’ll also enjoy a DJ, photo booth and a raffle. Tickets start at $75 for general admission starting at 8pm, but you can also buy the $250 pair of tickets with reserved seating and entry at 7pm – a great splurge for a special occasion.

If you’re looking for a more touristy thing to do, how about an Adults-Only Ghost Tour? The tour visits some of the most haunted spots in New Orleans, and you will hear hair-raising historical tales from your guide. Although not strictly for adults only, the World War II Museum is a must for history buffs. Last but by no means least, take a riverboat Jazz cruise! The Steamboat Natchez doesn’t offer one for adults only, but the nighttime cruises are geared more for grown-ups. Since NOLA is chock-full of amazing dining options – eat off the boat and just enjoy the music and the evening on the river.
